Ffanatik has exelled in all points the expectations
we had.
We’ve decided to wait untill next
spring to inseminate Femia again.
So no 2007 foal at our farm.
Ffazeehrah found herself a new home and is ridden
every day by her new owner’s 12-year old daughter. She is in the best
of hands and we are happy to see the relationship between her and her handler
is superb. Both horse and child enjoy each others presents and seem to bloom
open.

June 2006
Finally! On the 4th, Femia gave
birth to a black colt. The little boy has no markings at all. Mother and
son are fine.
Currently the only offspring of Ferryt in Belgium.

weather conditions and ofcourse... a foal!
Ffalisa is sold. She will start a carreer in Westernriding ( reining ).

March/April 2006
Wintertime was colder and longer than usually. Marleen has finished succesfully a course as Nationale Steward for the discpline Endurance. Ronny has finished a course for CN1 Judge Endurance. As Chairman of the Flemish Endurance Committee lots of time was and is still spend on the structural support of competition rules and equipment. Slowly, but surely is the motto. Time will reveal that we are on the right track.
On Sunday, the 26th of March, the ELDRA team was proud to welcome exactly 100 competitors at their first Endurance ride of this season. Over 4000 km were ridden of which approximately 3500 km succesfully for qualification in all the different levels of rides. Although only Belgian National Level Rides were organised, riders of 7 different Nationalities took part at the competition at the surroundings of the Militairy Practice-ground of the Belgian Airforces at Helchteren. An unique area with an exceptional surrounding. Only 5 m of concrete on a 32 km loop of meanly heathery moorland and sandy forest roads. The organisating team received a lot of complements for their excellent work

January/February 2006
Elections at the VLP ( Flemish Ligue for Horsesports
): Ronny is unanimous appointed as Chairman for the Endurance Committee
and as a member of the National Committee KBRSF ( Royal Belgian Equestrian
Federation, FEI recognized ). There is still a lot of structural work to
do as the discipline was neglected in Flanders for several years. Within
the renewed board of the Endurance Club ELDRA, Ronny stays as Secretary,
and Marleen as a boardmember.

October '05
Apparantly a quiet month. Mares coming in at
night. Sheep are grazing the pastures. Riding horses will have a couple
of weeks off and then all will start over again. Ffaramir has been weaned
without problems. Perola obviously not in foal anymore. Femia looks in perfect
condition. Outside horses coming in for being broken and prepared for riding.

September '05
One week later. Ffazeehrah finished
10th at the first "National Championship Endurance for 5-year old horses"
in Mont-le-Soie. This time she was ridden by her owner, Ronny. They finished
the 54 km -ride at an average speed of 13.28 km/h. Quiet a good result as
the second loop of 22 km seems to be the hardest one horses had to ride
this year in any qualification ride. Ffazeehrah seems to be ready for more
as she left a very good impression on the veterinarians and the other competitors.

Ffazeehrah did succeed in her first endurance
ride over 29 km. She was ridden by Mrs. Veronique van Roie, who own's her
full sister Ffayamara. Ffayamara has started well under saddle and did well
out her first outing at a regional jumping.

In the beginning of this month, Ronny succeeded in his first FEI Course in Kreuth ( Germany ). The Royal Belgian Equestrian Federation ( KBRSF ) had send him and his collegue Mr. François Cools, from the Endurance Club ELDRA ( Equestrian Long Distance Association ) to the International Event and Course. They were both active during the CEI weekend, where rides between 80 and 160 km were organised. At this course, theory and practice could be perfectly linked together. In the International class, both Belgian "students" did very well and are accepted by FEI as an international Steward.

August '05
On Saturday 27th, the Belgian
National Endurance Team won Individual and Team Gold at the European Championships
at Compiegne in France. We were very proud to join the local "guest-grooming-team"
which made the difference after 160 km. 3 Kms before the finish the Belgian
riders were able to cool their horses down at high speed, whilst no other
active team was present anymore. Congratulations to all participants and
assistants. Indeed teamwork of the highest level and very well coordinated
by the National Coach. This European Championship was the most impressive
Event so far we've seen, even European or All Nations Cups in Show were
peanuts compared to this organisation.

With a total score of 89.75 % at the A-Show
in Borgloon at the Elran Cup ( Castle of Rullingen ) Ffayietta was placed
only 9th out of 15 competitors. Placings between 4th place and 11th were
within a range of 0.9 %, very close indeed. The judges peferred type over
movements. As Ffayietta is still growing, we've decided not showing her
at the Nation Cup in Aachen. She is back out in the pasture enjoying her
daily routine. To us and many of her admirers she left a very good impression.
Overall good horse with very good legs and outstanding movements. Not bad
for a two year old filly.

At the Belgian Nationals at Balen,
Ffayietta obtained again a total score of 90.33 %, this time only good for
the second place in the class of two year old fillies. Next show will be
the Int. A-Show at Borgloon ( Elran Cup ).

During our stay in Denmark, another filly
foal by Ibn Wandro was born in Belgium. The proud mother is the Egyptian
related Saghira ( El Afnas x Badawiya by Mehanna ). This mare won several
endurance rides up to 90 km before a car run into her during a trainingssession
in their neighbourhood. Therefor her successes in sports will stay limited.
Hopefully this 15 year old mare, who had her first foal so far, will have
a nice future in the breeding barn.

Ffayietta did very well at her first outing in the showring. At the Emerald Trophy II in Brecht, an international C-show, she won her class with a total score of 90.33 %. First show and first 20 points for movements. PW and his team did a splendid job. Ffayietta will also attend the Belgian Nationals at the end of this month. |

Third time, good time. Finally Femia is
checked in foal to Ferryt, due end of May '06.
Quiet a suprise as the first veterinarian check gave a negative result.
We hope for the best.

The first Norwegian foal of Jaro d'Eversam has been born.
A colt foal out of Wasra ( Wandro x Bint Bint el Masra by Masran El Shaklan
).
Wasra was sold last year to Norway in foal to Jaro.

Arabissimo Event in Renswoude ( NL )
This time our result was not succesfull at all, although Ffazeehrah left
a very good impression on the racetrack and in liberty, where she was placed
ex-aequo second out of nearly 30 horses.

Perola has been inseminated with Ibn Wandro's semen... we hope for a positiv result soon.

name is related to the Prince of Ithilien ( Lord of the Rings ).

Another Ibn Wandro filly was born on the 22th at JD's stables.
The chesnut mare Nadezjna ( Kais x Antalya by Abakan ) gave birth to a grey
filly.
She will be bred to Jaro d'Eversam by AI.

Perola is back home and under surveillance.
The camera and monitor are ready to follow her.
She is in foal to Valerio-Ibn-Eternity VI and is due for the 26th of this
month.
We plan to breed her back to Ibn Wandro by AI ( frozen semen ).

We have leased the grey mare Wijsthoeve Fantasie ( Ibn Estasha x Rondeels
Ferikeh ) to breed to Valerio this year.
"Fanny" as the mare is called, had a 2003 grey filly by Jaro d'Eversam
and a bay colt in 2004 by Ibn Wandro.
She has some wellknown offspring, amongst them racewinners Djelforce ( by
Djerfor ) and Antaris-April-One ( by Ferment ). Antaris-April-One has raced
6 races in 3 seasons of which 4 victories.
Djelforce has raced 5 races in 2 seasons. He won all of them, including
the prestigious "race on ice" in St.- Moritz.

Our most recent adventure in
our breeding program is the importation of frozen semen of the black straight
Polish stallion Ferryt ( Wachlarz x Fortissima by Fawor ), owned by Halsdon
Arabians, UK, and currently standing in Brazil. Ferryt won the title of
Male Reserve Junior Champion at the Polish Nationals in 1999 as a yearling.
He was active on the racetrack for 2 seasons and left some offspring in
Poland before his purchase by Halsdon Arabians, UK. As he is of the same
tail-female line as our pure Polish mare Femia, we hope to breed a splendid
combination which is going to be all the best of both parents. Femia's maternal
halfsister Fryda ( by Ferment ) is a black mare, imported to the USA and
active on the racetrack overthere.

Ffalisa is progressing well and seems to be very reliable under saddle.
No stress situations at all, excepting the brittle without problems and
with a natural musclesbuilding disposition. A cool horse.
March '05
On Saturday the 19th of this
month the VLP organised a course for National Stewards. The course and the
additional examination were followed by two ELDRA members. Central on the
picture you can recognize Mr. François Cools ( standing ) and Mr.
Ronny Vosch ( sitting ), who both succeeded for the discipline Endurance.
Belgium has only 9 Stewards in Endurance, of which 4 Internationals. One
of the main tasks of the Stewards is to garde over the order, safety and
wellfare of the horses. The "Happy-Athlete", as horses and ponies
are called, has to be handled with respect.
One week earlier both ELDRA members took part at a judging course. Due to
previous courses François got his degree of K3N. Ronny is candidate
K3N and has to proof his capability as a judge-in-spe during this years
season, which should be not more than a formality to him.

On sunday the 20th of March, we have been organising in coöperation
with our club ELDRA vzw the first endurance ride of the season, in Helchteren.
Their were 3 rides: one of 26 km and two of 52 km. The competitiors had
to cross one single road ( with no traffic ) at the beginning of the ride.
The ride was organised around the Military Camp of the Belgian Airforces
at Helchteren and we were allowed to use all the Militairy facilities. We
were able to welcome 57 riders, who rode a total of 2002 km during this
competition. Only 2 riders failed to pass the final vetgate.

Ibn Wandro has been gelded and has found himself a new home. He will go
on with his career as a riding horse and we hope to meet him in a couple
of years in competition.
Limited frozen semen is still available for those who are looking for a
very nice character and more height in their offsprings.
January '05
In this month we organise trainingrides for endurance with ELDRA ( Equestrian Long Distance Riding Association ) members. Ibn Wandro, Ffazeehrah and Femia are joining the group. Training level is currently at low speed due to bad weather conditions.
December '04
Ffalisa is currently making her
first steps under saddle. We will prepare her for qualification rides in
endurance-competition.

Our yearling filly, Ffayietta
( JK Catalyst x Perola ) has returned from her showtraining at PW's Stables.
We plan to show her next season.

We've visited our stallion Jaro d'Eversam
in Denmark. He's feeling great and having a super holiday at Tengstedt Arabians.
His filly foal Jamihla looks marvellous.
